Australian Kart Championships
Congratulations to Ky B who recently competed at the Australian Kart Championships Round 5 in Melbourne. He qualified second fastest and managed 3 heat wins and a second position.
In the final, he led the race from pole (1st) position. An incident in turn 1 resulted in the race being restarted. Upon restarting the race, Ky exceeded track formation limits and had a penalty imposed post race. This resulted in a 10 second penalty which dropped him into 11th place even though Ky crossed the line in second place.
Ky is building great form in his rookie year in the KA2 class (High performance, Junior 12-15 year age group) finishing 4th in the 2023 Australian Championship.
Ky will build off this success with some exciting international opportunities to come soon.

Softball State Championships
Congratulations to Ronald and Lachlan P who recently attended the 10-12 years Softball State Championships.
Ronald did well, playing in the Wide Bay Team, placing 5th overall.
Lachlan was given plate duty (main umpire), before he was then named as one of the student umpires to go away with the selected Queensland Boys Team. This means Lachlan will attend the upcoming National Championships in November held at West Beach, South Australia.
