Karting Australian Team

Congratulations to Ky B who has been selected to represent Team Australia in the Karting Cup at the Inaugural FIA Asia Pacific Motorsport Championship at Sepang International Circuit held in Malaysia later this month.

He is one of two juniors selected in Australia.  This is an outstanding achievement.  Congratulations Ky and all the best for Malaysia.

Rugby League

Congratulations to Thomas M for being selected to represent QLD Country U17s.  Tom has worked really hard and is very dedicated to all things Rugby.  This is a wonderful reward and great achievement for all of his hard work.

Also, congratulations to Mr Anthonio Kaufusi, who will be leading the way as the head coach of the QLD Country boys for a second year in a row.

Surf Life Saving

Congratulations to our Shalom College Surf Life Saving Team for winning the Wide Bay Surf League on Friday 8 September at Nielsons Beach.

Shalom students had a great day, winning six out of six Age Champions and both Champion School Trophies.  The Percentage Points Trophy and the Overall Champion School Trophy.

Ten Pin Bowling – Winter Sports

Ten Pin Bowling has wrapped up for another year. Thank you to all members of the junior winter team. They have played their best over the last six weeks and shown great sportsmanship over that time.

The results for the Junior Competition are below.

For the yearly Interschool Competition, which combines both the Senior and Junior Competitions, North Bundaberg State High School won over all in both the scratch and handicapped competition with Shalom coming second on both.
