Year 12 External Assessments

I hope by now Year 12 students sitting External Assessments (EA’s) have familiarised themselves with their timetable in preparation for the block commencing Monday 23 October. The timetable is available on SIA.

Copies of QCAA publications for external assessment preparation including Equipment Lists and approved Calculator lists are available on SIA. Students can also access their personal timetable in their myQCE Learning Account. Please note this version of the timetable does not specify the room where exam will be conducted.

myQCE Student Portal Account

Please check your student has registered for their myQCE Student Portal Account using a personal email address NOT their Shalom College email.

Students will be able to access their final Year 12 results and their Senior Educational Profile (QCE and Senior Statement) in their myQCE Student Portal Account on 15 December. QCAA no longer mail out senior statements and results to students.

Please have your student check their personal details are correct in there myQCE Student Portal Account and make any necessary changes. If your home address has changed please contact Mrs Norris to have this updated.

It is a student’s responsibility to be able to log into this account after they have left the College. We are unable to assist with access issues as this is your student’s private account.

ACARA Survey

The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) has recently released a national survey designed to capture feedback on the changes to the 2023 NAPLAN testing schedule. The survey seeks to gather valuable feedback from school communities across the country.

This feedback will play a key role in the ongoing enhancement and refinement of the National Assessment Program. The survey responses will assist ACARA to make informed decisions, leading to simpler, clearer, and more meaningful test results.
