Four Year 11 Shalom students nominated to attend the 2023 Hinkler Innovation Initiative breakfast, with myself, held on 16 November at the Multiplex Sports and Convention Centre.

The theme for the event was ‘Innovation for the Future’ and featured an outstanding panel of speakers including futurist demographer, Simon Keustenmacher and Biomedical Engineer, Dr Jordan Nguyen.

The 2023 Hinkler Innovation Award was also announced at the breakfast with Bundaberg Brewed Drinks taking out this prestigious award.

The four students Steven P, Ella B, Isabel A and Caitlin D thoroughly enjoyed the event and represented Shalom very well on the day by engaging with the presenters after the event to ask questions and thank them for very engaging presentations.
