Harmony Week is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community.

Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries in the world and we should celebrate this and work to maintain it.

Harmony Week will be celebrated at Shalom College on College Assembly on Thursday 21 March 2024. It is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.

One of the goals of Harmony Week is to acknowledge our diverse national, ethnic and religious backgrounds to help build an inclusive society, and to acknowledge and celebrate the enduring principles of fairness, harmony and respect.

The theme for Harmony Week is Everyone Belongs…may this always hold true for us here at Shalom College.

You are invited to our College Assembly this coming Thursday (21 March) @ 11:30am in the Sports Centre to join in our Harmony Week showcase.
