Goal Setting
This year students across years 7 – 12 are using Trackone to set goals for all their subjects. I hope your student has come home and shared this news and discussed with you the goals they have set for themselves around their learning.
Year 10 Information
Last week in PDE most of our Year 10 students completed the registration process for their myQCE Student Portal Account. For those students absent or on camp Mrs Norris will be in touch in the coming week to assist the students with this process.
Year 12 Alternate Venue - External Examinations
QCAA envisage that all our Year 12 students will sit their scheduled external examinations at Shalom College. These exams run from Monday 21 October – Tuesday 12 November. The exam timetable will be released by QCAA later this term.
If there is any exceptional circumstance as to why your child cannot complete their QCAA external exams here at the College, please contact Mrs Norris as soon as possible to discuss this. It is a requirement of QCAA that an alternate venue must be identified so that extraordinary arrangements can be made ahead of time. We are required to apply to QCAA ahead of time for this arrangement.
It is important to note that all students must sit their scheduled external assessments. If a student does not sit an external assessment, they will not receive a final result for the subject and will impact their QCE credit.
