Congratulations to Rohan W who competed in the four day event at Oxley Golf Club last week. He represented Wide Bay in the Qld School Sport 13-19 yrs Golf championships. Rohan finished with scores of:

Totalling 4 under par for the Championship (Nett) and awarded the Silver Medal as Nett R/Up for the Championships. Fantastic achievement Rohan.

Hockey - Shalom Wide Bay Open Boys
Congratulations to Ethan K and Cohen U, representing 16-19 years Wide Bay Boys Hockey Team at QSS State Championships in Rockhampton.
It was a great 4 day’s of Hockey for the 2 Shalom boys, completing for Wide Bay in the 16-19 School Boys Hockey Team Finishing with a Gold Medal after 1-1 draw in the Grand Final then winning 3-0 in shootouts.
The Wide Bay team finished 2nd in the Pools Rounds, playing a crossover game winning and moving to a Semi Final game.
Ethan was one of the Teams goal keepers, he had an excellent Tournament making some crucial saves, including 3 shootout saves.
Cohen the team’s Vice Captain had an outstanding Carnival Scoring 5 goals including 1 in the Grand Final and the Shootout and being rewarded with a place in the Under 19 Queensland School Boys Merit Team.

Shalom Tennis
On Friday 17 May, Shalom’s Bundaberg representatives Jai P, Amelia W, Indiannah D and Gabe K trialled for the 10-12yr Wide Bay Schools Tennis Team at Hervey Bay. These students displayed their talent to play some outstanding tennis on the day.
Congratulations to Amelia W, Indiannah D and Jai P who made the Wide Bay team - a fantastic achievement. These players will now compete in Brisbane at the State Championships from the Thursday 13 -Sunday 16 of June. Gabe K also impressed and is reserve for the Wide Bay team. Shalom is very proud of these players performances - this is an excellent accomplishment. Good luck in Brisbane to these players!
