Databases available to Shalom staff and students
Don’t forget that we subscribe to electronic resources other than our textbooks.
Infobase: 8 database suites are available in Infobase that provide access to valuable academic articles on a variety of subjects including:
History Research Centre, Ancient & Medieval History, Literature Online, Health Reference Center, Modern World History, Science Online, Today’s Science, and World Geography & Culture.

We also now subscribe to JSTOR document archive through JCS Online Services. This database offers access to thousands of articles on a range of subjects, but is particularly helpful for Religion and culture, Literature and Art, and Ancient & Modern History.
Access is available through the JSTOR tile or just by going to the JSTOR website:
Insert Shalom Email then choose 'log in with Microsoft' (must be logged into device with school login first for single sign on to work.
Sora is a great platform for hosting fiction including magazines, this is also available from the Sora tile then choose ACEN (Australian Catholic Education Network) from the drop-down menu.
Sora offers books in digital format, and some are also available in audio.
