Year 11 Health Certificate

Year 11 Health Certificate classes had the privilege, on Wednesday 24July, of visiting the Royal Flying Doctors Service facilities out near the airport. We were made to feel very welcome as we toured the amazing facilities that service not only the Bundaberg region but also wider Queensland. They provide the most amazing service to people who are usually at a very vulnerable period in their lives. 

Students had the opportunity to find out what a day in the life of RFDS Registered Nurse, Doctor and Pilot is like as they deal with patients experiencing all level of health issues from the gravely ill to someone who simply needs transfer from one health facility to another. Students also saw the state of art training rooms that they use to ensure that their staff are always up to date in their knowledge and skills.
