Rescheduled Year 9 and Year 10 Subject Selection Evening – Tuesday 20 August

Thank you for your understanding with our decision to postpone last Tuesday’s event due to the weather. We did not want to risk asking our families to head out in that horrible weather so we will hold the information sessions this Tuesday night. Hopefully, last Tuesday afternoon students received an email with their Web choices portal link and their unique password. If not, could they please see me at Student Reception.

Information session times will remain the same as previously advertised. Year 8 students selecting subject choices for Year 9, in 2025 will commence at 6.30pm. Year 9 students selecting subject choices for Year 10 in 2025 will commence at 7pm.

Each will be a short presentation covering the subject selection process and platform we use to make subject choices online. They will also cover information about the number of Core and Elective subjects’ students are required to study, and where to access information about the subjects offered at each year level.

There will be no specific subject information given on each of the different subjects available to study because of the sheer volume on offer. This information is available in the Subject Selection Book. Heads of Department will be available on the night to address any questions you may have regarding the selection of subjects to study.

The timeline around the Year 9 and Year 10 subject selections are as follows:

13 August - Edval WebChoice portal opens for student to select subjects
20 August - Parent Information Evening
27 August - Signed Edval WebChoice receipt to be handed into Student Reception

Year 12 – QTAC ATAR Portal Registrations

The QTAC Portal is now open and current Year 12 students are now able to register for two accounts:

1. To receive their ATAR score once published by QTAC https://www.qtac.edu.au/atar/ 
2. To apply to QTAC for university entry for 2024 https://www.qtac.edu.au/applications/ 

Both sites have a short information video to assist you with the registration process.
