Pink and Purple Day 2024 – Cert III Business

On Thursday 1 August, the Year 12 Certificate III Business class hosted Pink and Purple Day. This special day promotes awareness and raises funds for Breast Cancer Support and Relay for Life. Students and staff donned their pink and purple accessories for the day and purchased pink and purple items as part of the fundraiser, raising $1200 to donate to our charities.

The Cert III Business class of 2024 had been planning their ideas since the start of Year 11 and were well prepared and very enthusiastic. They created promotional logos, researched and priced products to make a profit, presented on assembly three times, created posters and sold their products over three market sessions. They sold ribbons, wristbands, lollies and cupcakes, and received gold coin donations in support of our charities that help so many in our community.

Thank you to all who supported our cause and to our kind sponsors, Chics Pies and Bundy Pies & Patisseries who donated 150 beautiful purple cupcakes to our school for this event, and Cupcakes by K Rose who supplied their specially designed cupcakes to us at cost price. All proceeds from these kind donors contributed to a record total for our Cert III Business class fundraiser.
