Subject Selection Forms for 2025

Could any Year 8 or Year 9 students who still have not returned their signed paper copy of their subject selections for 2025 please do so. We are now in the process cross checking these with the electronic submissions.

The online portal for subject selections has now closed. If your child has not selected their subjects for 2025 online, please have them see Mrs Norris or Mr Maher at Student Reception.

Year 12 Mock and External Assessments

Mr Maher met with all Year 12’s last Wednesday to go over the school’s expectations during the mock and external exam blocks. All information required for both the Mock and External Assessment is available in SIA:   https://schoolbox.shalomcollege.com/homepage/6641

We strongly recommend that all students engage with these documents before they commence their examinations.

Year 12 Results

On Wednesday I asked all Year 12 students to check their myQCE account to ensure that they received their senior results. They need to have a private email address registered to their account and to make sure they can successfully log into this account.

QCAA will release Year 12 results at 9.00am on Wednesday 11 December. Students access their results, Senior Statement, and their Queensland Certificate of Education (if eligible) in their myQCE Student Portal account.

QTAC registration – ATAR score and QTAC Application Portal

Year 12 students have received an information sheet on how to:

1. Register with QTAC to receive their ATAR score
2. Create their QTAC Applications account

If you child is eligible to receive an ATAR score, could you please encourage them to register. We have asked students to give consent for the College to see their score so that we may collate this data for our own analysis purposes.

QTAC will release ATAR Scores from 9.00am on Friday 13 December.

If you child is planning to apply for university through QTAC they will need to firstly create an account with QTAC.
