For this Quiet Achiever I would like to nominate Laura S. Laura is a quintessential example of "quiet" and "achieving". She involves herself in everything that occurs at school, either actively or as an interested and engaged audience member. Importantly, she is doing very well in her Grade 11 subjects - this is our prime focus at school. Yet she does not simply stop there - within the 4 walls of Lingiari Laura quietly helps with everything we do - from being a terrific Buddy this year to quietly helping me set-up for our House assemblies. Indeed, for our recent House Bake Sale Laura purchased (donated) all of our napkins after coming up with a colour coding napkin system for our pricing (far beyond my brain power). It is not often that I have to ask Laura for any help, though when I do her answer is always an immediate "yes".

She is a fantastic supporter of the college Netball programs - currently she is recovering from a knee reconstruction, but is still involved in Netball by coaching and supporting. Laura also is heavily involved in the college's music program as a member of the Senior Concert Band and Jazz ensembles.

Laura's behaviour is consistently underpinned with the values of Vincent Lingiari, with JUSTICE being at the forefront of her thinking. She is a wonderful role-model for all of us in Lingiari House.
