For our Quiet Achiever in McAuley House, I would like to start 2025 off by acknowledging all the new year 7 students, their parents/guardians and their buddies from year 12 and those from year 11 and year 10 who have happily stepped in to make the transition into high school an easy one.

We gathered around our house flag from about 7:45am on Tuesday morning (28/01) and it was not long before I was surrounded by such a happy, polite group who were all wearing their uniform with pride and dare I say perfection. This positive vibe continued through the day as the senior buddies assisted their new year 7 friend with support and information about laptops, record books, timetables, teachers and classrooms just to name a few things.

It is a pleasure to welcome all our McAuley Families, returning and new,  back to school for 2025 but to have had such a #SHINE moment thanks to our year 7’s, their parents and our senior buddies they well deserve our McAULEY QUIET ACHIEVER AWARD for this term.
