Shalom Netball Program
Shalom Netball Program Introduction
Welcome back to school everyone. For those who don't know me - my name is Nadia Tairawhiti, and I am the Shalom Netball Coordinator.
The Shalom Netball Program aims to create a dynamic sporting environment that offers opportunities for all – players, coaches, umpires, volunteers and spectators. We aim to increase greater participation in netball, and to contribute to the education and personal development of our participants based on our Mission, Vision and core Values (view these on our SIA Group Page).
Shalom netballers are able to choose multiple pathways within the sport from playing competitively or socially, to coaching and umpiring. Our athletes have the opportunity to engage in many school and community activities including:
*Shalom Netball Academy - dedicated development program for students Years 7-10
*Vicki Wilson Championship and Open Boys Competitions
*QISSN - Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Netball Carnival
*BDSSS Inter-school Sports Competition
*Development Clinics, Coach and Umpire Development Courses and Accreditations, Fitness Sessions and Special Guest Workshops
If you aren't a member already, I invite you to join our SIA Group Page to stay apprised of Shalom Netball activities through-out the year –https://schoolbox.shalomcollege.com/homepage/14983
ANYONE / EVERYONE – If you are a coach or umpire or just wanting to get involved with an extra-curricular program here at Shalom we need you… please get in touch!
Have a good year everyone❤️
