CHESS NEWS!!

“Excellence at chess is one mark of a scheming mind.”

On Wednesday 26 February, 15 chess players triumphantly represented Shalom at the Term 1 Inter-School Chess Competition at St Luke’s College. A somewhat depleted Shalom team competed fiercely and, although not attaining any medals, achieved some good results. Our top team of Shalom Black came 5th on the day while our second highest team came 7th – well done to these teams. In addition, Jacob B and Alexander C showed what improved players they are by achieving merit ribbons for winning at least 4.5 games – fantastic results from these boys.

If you are interested in playing or learning chess, then you are more than welcome to join us at chess club on Tuesdays at 11.25am-12.00pm in Beerarlem. The more the merrier! 2025 Bundaberg Junior Table Tennis Easter Holiday Camp

What: A fun-filled table tennis holiday camp for 6-16 year old players of all skill levels.
