Quiet Achiever
Our Lingiari Quiet Achiever this Term is Cameron W.
Lingiari Year 12 student Cameron W is a perfect example of a student who is quiet and who achieves wonderfully well. His grades in all his subjects are a clear reflection of a student who works hard and does their best to achieve the most they can with their talents. Outside of the classroom, Cameron is a committed and helpful member of the college’s music department, where he plays a variety of brass instruments in several bands and also is a member of a choir.
In Lingiari House Cameron is a quiet yet very effective leader. Whenever an event is coming up, Cameron always quietly and discretely asks if there is any way he can help. He has been a terrific Buddy for Collette R (last year and this year) along with the other younger students in LI2 and quietly extends that kind and caring nature to many other students in Lingiari House who may need help or a quiet word of encouragement. Indeed, his quiet, respectful and thoughtful approach to others is very much in keeping with our House patron Vincent Lingiari, who always sought to help others whilst never wanting to make himself the centre of attention.
