Introducing one of our amazing new Sponsors... Tony Madden Architects

Tony Madden Architects is a boutique, family based architectural firm which has been servicing regional Queensland for over 35 years. Based out of Rockhampton, with support from a small office in Brisbane, Tony Madden Architects has developed a speciality in education facility design and development. This ongoing relationship with the education sector has seen the successful completion of over 400 education-based projects throughout Queensland, ranging from small building upgrades to new school master plans and development.

We envision learning environments that are innovative, inclusive and engaging to give students the best opportunity to achieve excellence. We recognise that it is crucial to not only provide spaces that fulfil the educational needs of the students but also provide spaces (internal and external) that support, encourage and help grow educational communities.

This wide range of project scale and location has also allowed Tony Madden Architects to contribute to the regional communities with other public, commercial, institutional and private residential work.

For more information visit https://www.tmarchitects.com.au/ or call 07 4927 9700 and speak to one of the team.

Thank you to the wonderful Tony Madden Architects team for supporting our Shalom netball community and helping us to provide opportunities for our students ❤️

OPEN GIRLS QISSN TEAM VS ST JAMES COLLEGE

The Open Girls QISSN Team travelled to St James College in Brisbane last week to have a hit-out with the St James girls for practice games in preparation for the 2025 QISSN Carnival this year.

It was quality netball that allowed our girls to play around with combinations and develop their connections with each other. The St James crew are such talented athletes and gave it to us physically, but showed skill and grace with their clean-style of play and good sportsmanship.

Although the St James Girls got up in both games, we had some beautiful passages of play that highlighted our talents and we now know that we have a lot more growth in us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at St James and hope to make it a regular event each year... and the get-away was perfect for our team-building endeavours.

"Great learnings and a very happy Coach!" - Mrs Kylee Johnstone.
