Senior Academic Tutoring Program coordinated by Padea Tutoring
As previously advertised, we are trialling an exciting new opportunity available for students in Years 10 to 12 who are interested in receiving external tutoring. We have entered into an agreement with Padea Tutoring to facilitate an external tutoring service, run on location in the Waterford building to begin with, and then moving into the Coolock building when it is completed. The tutoring will be offered each Monday afternoon from 3:30pm to 6:30pm where students undertake 3 hours of tutoring, with a catered dinner provided.
The tutors are university students with an average ATAR of 99 and above. They will tutor students in a ratio of 1:5, and they will focus on the subjects identified by the student upon enrolment.
The cost will be $78 per student per session to be paid directly to Padea, and students will sign up for the duration of the term, 8 weeks in total. Tutoring will start in Week 2 of Term 3. There is the option to sign up for individual sessions, but this is at a slightly higher cost. Your first session is complementary. More information is provided in the email sent this afternoon.
Please note that this service will not replace the tutoring already offered by our Senior teachers, and you are welcome to continue to access our free school tutoring. This external service will be in addition to what we already offer.
Parents and students in Years 10 to 12 will have received an email this afternoon with the link to the website where you can enrol. There are limited places available so please act quickly if you wish to take up this opportunity.

SET Plan Interviews (Home Study Day for Year 10) |
Personal Futures Day is for all current year 10 students. It is important that all year 10 students attend on this day. This whole day program is devoted to looking at careers, subject selection and familiarising students with the SET Plan which is required when entering their senior phase of learning.
The Senior School Subject Selection Evening is an information night for all Year 10 parents and students and relates directly to subject selections for Year 11 in 2025.
All students entering Year 11 are required to have a SET Plan to map their pathway to achieving their QCE and/or ATAR or an alternate pathway. The SET Plan interviews allow us to work with you and your student to create this plan and ensure that their subject selections are suitable for their chosen pathway.

They will require this account during the Year 10 Personal Futures Day next term and for activities throughout this year.
