Our whirlwind of preparation, blood, sweat and tears culminated in the most awesome QISSN experience right here at home!

Our QISSN week started wonderfully with a fabulous gourmet buffet breakfast at Coach Kylee’s on the Sunday morning before heading to Shalom to proudly rep as the host school team. Across the week the team made sure they had heaps of fun together off-court with sleepovers, dinners, gym sessions and attending Fun Night.

Our incredible girls were on fire from the get-go with strong, dominating performances, outstanding work-rates and superb teamwork. They finished the top of their pool and made it all the way to the Division 3 Grand Final, ending their QISSN campaign as Runners-Up. An amazing 8/10 wins and an achievement to be proud of jumping from 29/64 last year to 18/64 teams this year!

As Laura Geitz so beautifully put it during the Opening Ceremony 'it’s the team-ship and connections both on and off the court that matter most' – and our girls truly embodied that spirit every step of the way.

An enormous congratulations to Tenne B, our youngest player and MVP for Shalom, who was also named in the Rising Stars Team – what a superstar!
