Jack M our McAuley Quiet Achiever is a remarkable and humble soul who brings, MERCY, thoughtfulness, care, support, diligence, joy and humour to our house and school community. Jack is a self-motivated worker who always approaches every challenge and interaction with positivity and respect and this is a true representation of what Catherine McAuley meant when she said that ‘the simplest and most practical lesson is, to resolve to be good today – but better tomorrow.’ Being polite and honest are two very big traits Jack displays but these are just highlighted with his genuine treatment of staff and students with kindness, MERCY and integrity. Jack has certainly let his ability to #SHINE grow strong through his time, efforts and contributions to Shalom College and McAuley House.
