In June, three Shalom students participated in the Junior Science Olympiad. The Olympiad is a 2 hour exam covering Biology, Chemistry, Earth and environmental Science, and Physics.

Two students achieved a participation award.

A third student, Connor P - Year 10, received a Distinction Award placing him in the top 30% of participants. Connor was also invited to participate in the Junior Science Olympiad Talent Development Program. This extracurricular program helps students to develop their expertise in all four sciences in the company of like-minded peers, and it is an honour to be invited to participate. Congratulations Connor.
