Just a reminder that Shalom College provides excellent resources to augment and support students on their learning journey.

ClickView

ClickView has been around since 2003, making it over 20 years old. Founded in Australia, the company began as an on-premise streaming solution for schools and has since evolved into a global provider of educational video content and a community of educators. 

Key Milestones

  • 2003: ClickView is founded in Australia with a vision to transform education through video.
  • 2012: ClickView migrates to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, a move that significantly accelerates its growth and ability to reach schools worldwide.
  • Present: ClickView is a leading producer of educational videos and a platform used by hundreds of schools globally, helping to save teachers time and engage students in learning. 

JSTOR Document Archive

JSTOR partners with libraries, museums, and publishers to preserve and bring to life scholarly materials.

Using advanced technology to provide sustainable, affordable access to a vast collection of primary and secondary sources from around the world, JSTOR’s research and teaching platform combined with innovative collections stewardship tools, make information more affordable and accessible to current and future scholars everywhere.

JSTOR is part of ITHAKA, a mission-driven nonprofit that also includes Ithaka S+R and Portico.

To log in just go to https://www.jstor.org/ or direct to the login page at https://www.jstor.org/action/showLogin?redirectUri=%2F then to ‘find my institution’ and select “Shalom Catholic College’ or access via the library’s Sia page.

When students with Shalom email addresses log in they can just simply Insert Shalom Email then choose 'log in with Microsoft' (must be logged into device with school login first for single-sign-on).

Infobase Databases

Infobase was conceived in the USA in 1941, so for over 80 years they have enabled access to everything from quality primary sources to professional development tools.  Shalom college subscribes to a variety of their products that offer high quality, credible, data that has been designed to align with defined standards and expected outcomes.
