Congratulations to our Shalom team for winning the Wide Bay Division of the CQU Business Challenge on Thursday 27 April at the CQU Bundaberg campus.

Shalom was represented by Year 12 students Amelia T, Finley C, Erika R and Ryland G. Each of these students is studying one or more subjects across Legal Studies, Business and Accounting. They were accompanied by a very proud Mrs Revelo, one of our senior business teachers at Shalom.

Our team competed against eight other teams from St Luke’s, North State High School, Bundaberg State High School, Isis State High School and Gin Gin State High School. The Wide Bay Division competition was held simultaneously with the other divisions across Queensland and we also obtained the top score statewide.

Well done to our team for their win and for defending the title as Shalom was also the winner in 2022. We wish Amelia, Finley, Erika and Ryland all the best as they will compete in the overall State final in Term 3.
