Hockey Squad - Under 15 Queensland Club 

Following the Under 15 Club State Hockey Championships held during the school holidays, we would like to congratulate the three Shalom students who have made the Under 15 Queensland Hockey Squad.

Boys - Ethan K
Girls - Emma K and Ava M

These students have already participated in a weekend camp held here in Bundaberg and will trial in February to attempt to make the final QLD team to play at the nationals.

We wish them all the best and congratulate them on making the QLD squad.

Shalom College Surf Life Saving

Congratulations Shalom Surf Life Saving Team for winning the Wide Bay Surf League.

16+ Boys – Rohan M

Fraser Coast Anglican College won the percentage points trophy and Shalom won the Overall Champion school trophy.

YOUFOR32 Rowing - QLD Academy of Sport  

Jada received wonderful news recently after she completed a testing session and interview in May 2022 with the QLD Academy of Sport, for the YOUFOR32 program.

Jada is passionate about Rowing and after many gruelling testing sessions in Hervey Bay she has been recognised for her hard work and commitment. She has successfully been selected in the program for YOUFOR32. YOUFOR32 is a program designed for Youth of QLD by the Academy of Sport to work with talented students and set programs to achieve goals and help them hopefully one day become Olympians.

Congratulations to Taylor D.

Taylor has been selected in the Talent ID process for Rugby 7s. Her next trial is on 26 November at Ballymore. We wish her all the best.
