Our latest news is that in a closely contested race our two senior (Years 9 & 10) Readers’ Cup teams came in 6th and 11th and our resident chess team were awarded gold for the first time in a few years. Congratulations to all involved.

Budding authors have had a chance to feature in our Shalom Literary Wonders anthology with their literary masterpieces. The theme is ‘Locally Grown’ and the short story or poetry submissions will be judged by Ms Freeman, Ms Scoles, and Mr Crowley. The winners will be announced at the end of our First Draft event on Friday 11 August by guest author and former Shalom student: Ben Connelly.

Then in the last week of August, we will be celebrating Children’s Book Week in the library. The theme for 2023 is ‘Read, Grow, Inspire’ and several activities have been organised to fit around that theme.
