From the Library
Last week was Bookweek and the Library/English Department Literary Committee celebrated with exciting activities all week. At lunch Mr Church ran a fun treasure hunt with literature-inspired clues to fruit and vegetable items in keeping with this year’s theme of ‘Read, Grow, Inspire’. These were then presented at the library for an entry into a draw for tuck-shop vouchers.
At afternoon teatime all week, the library ran; badge making, pot painting and planting, bookmark and book cover design, pet rock painting, and flower making.
Be sure to stop by the library to see the winning books from the Children’s Book Week Competition for 2023
